Life is so strange....

since i first posted here, things in my life with the jw's has changed.. my jw ex and his current wife are still royal pains, and they isolate themselves from the very family that had chosen to not speak or even acknowledge me during our relationship.

this, of course in turn isolated my ex's family from our son while they were living there.

they went out of their way (while living with the 'rents) to keep our son away from his grandparents, aunt & cousins until they finally got evicted (yes evicted) from the 'rents house and got their own place.

How do you handle a Volitile Ex??

my ex....is an idiot.

i have had problems with him from the get go when it comes to custody of our son.

we have gone to court and established some ground rules, which he consistantly bends & twists to suit him.

i have done up a letter to my ex asking him to cease & desist with cramming his "religion" down our sons throat and also to stop our son from calling his wife "mom" and other issues that he's in violation of our custody order with.

it was a nice letter, i told him knock it off or we're going to mediation (in our custody agreement as well) to figure it out.

this was at the advise of my attorney.

i have had a hard time wrapping my head around everything i've learned about the jw's.

i had no idea.

i must have been insane to not see the signs when i was with my ex.

What Movie should I go see??? Help!!

it's been so long since i've been to a movie that didn't involve big green ogres or a family of superhero's.

my friend & i are going tonite and we have narrowed it down to two movies:.

my ex's wife just had their new baby (they are both jw's).

turns out that the baby has been born with blood poisoning, an underdeveloped liver and severe jaundice.

it's the rh factor problem, she was warned, and refused the shot she could have taken to possibly prevent this.

that any jws that got out of the religion, only to go back are sincere to the jw way of life now that they are "back in"?

i mean, they?ve had a taste of what it?s like on the outside, and be it due to family pressure, their own lack of faith or fear of the ?wordly ways?

they chose to go back, there was clearly a reason they left in the first place.

hi all, i hope i'm posting this in the right subject area:

had a "discussion" with my ex the other day, in which i asked him to stop telling our son that birthdays/pumpkins/santa and whatever else were "bad" as he was more or less telling our son that my beliefs are wrong.

of course he says he's only teaching him "truth from the bible" i asked him to point out to me where in the blble it says you can't celebrate these things, he couldn't.

howdy everyone, i must start by saying "thank you"for posting all this information on the jw way of life in here, i appreciate everything that you guys are putting out there, both for your own use and to help others like me.

i've posted a couple times, but mostly i'm here to learn, but now it's time for me to ask questions!.

i am not a jw, i was involved with one for several years, and we have a son.
